Call for Sponsored Symposia and Satellites

Given the scope of WCE2024, a wide range of proposals covering the various fields of epidemiology, public health and clinical science will be considered for Symposia and Satellite sessions.

Symposia sessions are focused, structured discussions or presentations within the broader context of the WCE2024 theme.  Symposia sessions are open to all registrants of the WCE. 

Satellite sessions are organised by external groups or organisations to address topics or specialised interests that may not be covered in the main event’s agenda. Satellite meetings are an excellent opportunity for groups with specific interests to convene and collaborate within the context of a larger gathering.

Symposia or Satellite sessions are typically 30 to 120 minutes in duration; longer sessions can be scheduled through discussions with the conference secretariat.  These sessions will be given appropriately sized meeting space within the conference venue with audiovisual and technical support as required.  For more information regarding the cost of organising Symposia or Satellite sessions, please contact Natasha Moodaley at natasha.moodaley@uct.ac.za.
